We staycationed here one night for a quick weekend getaway. Everything was as described. The room was clean, fresh, spacious, and had everything we needed (they did inform us beforehand that we would need to bring our own toiletries). We were within walking distance to the Snook Inn where we had dinner and drinks. We came back around sunset and enjoyed the spacious rear deck where there are fishing poles available and even cut/wash stations for guests! Such a charming, cozy, tropical hideaway off the beaten path. We highly recommend The Boat House.

Sand fleas in the bed and on furniture. Floor was not clean. The air conditioner is noisy coming on and off. Kept waking us up! After the first night they moved us to a different room that was much better except for the noisy AC. The location on the water is nice and the deck is really nice.

We are so sorry that your first room did not meet your expectations. We have asked our cleaning team to look into any insect issues that may or may not be present. Our property is historically older so our a/c are in room units that can be louder than modern a/c units, however, we will ask our maintenance team to ensure they are working properly. We are family-owned and operated, so we appreciate your feedback so much and we are so glad you enjoyed our dock and deck! Please give us another try again soon!

We couldn’t have been more impressed with The Boat House. Though the property is older, the rooms are HUGE, spotlessly clean and beautifully updated. Everything was lovely and it was very reasonably priced. The staff was so kind and accommodating. Beautiful view of the water from the dock. We will recommend and stay again without a doubt. We walked to dinner and breakfast as well. Thank you for such a delightful stay!
