Beautiful night away
Posted 15 Jun 2019 on HotelsBetter than we had expected! The public spa was super warm which my husband and baby boy loved. Fire place kept the room toasty warm. Plenty of attractions and restaurants within 5-10 min drive.

We arrived early which was no problem, staff friendly and helpful, everything was exactly as advertised. We absolutely enjoyed our stay, highly recommended if you love nature and we will definitely be back again.

We stayed at Tanglewood as a stop gap between moving house - all our beds were packed in the truck but wouldn't arrive at new home for a day or so. The only reason we chose Tanglewood was because it fit every person needed in one property rather than multiple bookings. So we were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in a lush rainforest bungalow surrounded by native flora and fauna. It was definitely a lovely way to spend our last night living on the Sunshine Coast, and we would love to come back for a holiday!

Rainforest setting, perfect for a rustic getaway
Posted 31 Dec 2018 on HotelsWe were very well satisfied with our overnight stay at Tanglewood Gardens, as an affordable getaway between Christmas and New Year. The rustic rainforest unit, with the interior a little dated, was nicely appointed with a fully equipped kitchen, full size refrigerator, separate bedroom, aircon, laundry facilities in the large bathroom and a TV with Foxtel movie channels. Internet/mobile phone reception was very poor, but we didn't really need it for an overnight stay. There was a pool, very large hot spa and sauna just along the path from our unit. It was truly in a rainforest setting and very peaceful, with a porch area to sit outside (although too many mosquitoes and we didn't bring any repellent).

Great rainforest and lodgings. Wouldn't mind some pamphlet info that usually comes in a room.

This resort is tired and very dated. The outdoor facilities like the playground, pool and pond are of a very low standard
