Hotels with Bars / Lounges in Manukan Island, Sabah

"Buffet breakfast disappointing (no eggs!) but lunch and dinner ala carte menu are good and reasonably priced. There are few restaurants within walking distance so it is good that hotel restaurant is okay. Major frustration with room safe. It was rusted and unused. They replaced it but the second one would not work (electronics were bad). I gave up. "

"For the rate that this hotel charge (walk in rate was RM800) the hotel could do better in the following areas: 1. Wifi connection kept cutting off 2. Limited TV channel options. Poor TV resolution 3. Algae in the perimeter drain of the lap pool 4. Leaking plumbing fixtures in bathtub and at the valve to the toilet 5. Not up to 5 star hotel cleanliness 6. Air conditioner was out at their Strikers Bowl but luckily the first game (the only game we played was complimentary). Had to switch to different lanes several times because of malfunctions. Pros: 1. Staff was excellent and courteous 2. Breakfast options were excellent 3. Experience at Mandara Spa was excellent "
