The beach area is not very good . It's a rocky area. Not good for swimming

Prices do not match the facilities provided in the room. Nice view but limited facilities such as no lighting, for a room with 4 people not enough water, towels. Not 5 star. Quiet in the day but noisy party at night.

I have been in Ecuador for a month, and this hotel has been my least favorite. The staff does not seem to communicate well and is inconsistent in applying policies. The views are great, and the pool is nice, but the staff needs training and simplified processes. The rooms are also very sparse. I was surprised by the rating of this hotel on Expedia. I checked out as soon as I could, and I am glad I was only there for one night.

This wasn’t first time staying at Mantahost. The place is well kept though a bit dated. It feels more like a budget hotel than a high-end hotel. I think that fresh flowers in the lobby instead of plastic ones could go a long way. My score is due to the fact that I was very comfortable, the noise was very low or nonexistent, the food was good and the service exceptional. I’d definitely return.

I stayed here for a wedding and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. The rooms were great and updated!

Amazing staff
Posted 13 May 2023 on HotelsExcellent staff service. Everyone was just amazing, room service, butler, reception, waiters and others. Thank you. Food is great but the hotel is kind of old. Beach at this time of year was not possible to use and lots of debris. Great view of the ocean.
