I have stayed at New World several times. I always enjoy my stay there. The staff are extremely nice and accommodating. The room is spacious, although it is a little old, but definitely very clean. This is one of the hotels I would definitely come back to whenever I am in Manila.

The hotel facilities are great except that the water temperature in the pool is too cold. It wasn't good seeing our kids shivering. The check in process was slow. It could have been improved if staff were more aware of the queue building up. There was an extra staff talking nicely to guests who were in the queue. The extra staff could have opened another check-in desk which was available. I find that a waste of resources. We checked out before 12 noon and again there was a queue of 10 guests while there were two free desks. In the queue were guests both checking out and checking in when check in should only start at 2 or 3 pm. Obviously, check in procedures take a bit longer. Management should have considered designating a desk solely for checking out. We ended up waiting in queue for 25 minutes just hand back our keys. Not really a great customer experience.

I like the convenient of being close to airport , dining and shopping. Staff were very efficient upon check-in however, checked out is a pain , I think they should have an express check-out for guests who are in a rush and just dropped their keys . They took your deposit and credit card I think that's enough if there's any incidental have been made .
