Stayed for 1 night in between flights. I wasn't expecting a whole lot given the exterior from my research. I was pleasantly surprised at how quaint and charming the interior was. As one review stated, it is a perfect place to capture your Instagram worthy photos. Check in was smooth and was greeted with a smile. The elevator albeit old, like most of the hotel, has been updated with modern push buttons. The Prestige Luneta room was large and clean. It offered an in room safe, mini fridge and snack bar with a price list, robes and slippers. The robes unfortunately we're too small for a North American built man and a tall Filipina. The one downside, as what others probably mentioned, was that the curtains wouldn't close properly and that the track was broken. WiFi was pretty much non-existent but didn't bother calling because it was only a one night stay. The bathroom offered a stand alone bathtub, shower and basic amenities. Enjoyed the strong water pressure from the shower. Booked a 3 night stay at the end of our trip but ended up cancelling due to plan changes. I would definitely stay again given a chance.

Hot and cold.

when I checked in, I found there was no hot water in the suite I had reserved. So I was then transferred to another suite. The next day, there was no hot water there also. They sent a maintenance man who worked under the sink for almost an hour on the “instant hot water heater”. Finally he said it was fixed. But after he left, the hot water only lasted 2 minutes. So no hot showers for 2 days. But otherwise the hotel was lovely. Great restaurant with a smooth jazz combo playing. Historic property and very romantic.

Great old world hotel. Charming with modern coveniences. Great location in Manila. More than 100 years old but stil modern due to recent renovation. A little bit of history to share, Dwight Eisenhower lived at Luneta for 4 years. Nice place.

The Luneta suite , The biggest room category and best room at The hotel, had a very good ambiance. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a great view. However there was a problem with The airconditioning which i believe they should have for seen since they knew we were coming in. they shouldnt have placed us there. Room transfer was offered but was a big inconvenience. Check in experience dint give much on an impact, im sure that was Not The standard check in process. Since they hold such a historic Filipino background Which was posted all over they lobby. they could have placed a little more Filipino feeling of hospitality Or welcoming in The check in process. Same goes to The check out process.

Breakfast included but terrible . We spoke with the chef and told them to change the menu and take pride of what they’re doing . They need to improve their menu otherwise people will be disappointed since The Manila Hotel, Rizal Park Hotel and Bayview Hotel are nearby with a comparable rate with much much better menu . We visited all those places and tried their food and also stayed on those hotels. Of course Manila Hotel topped them all.

The Lady Receptionist was so kind to help me with wifi. The hotel for me is equivalent of Manila Hotel with regards to decoration inside the room. Staff are Nice. Very historical. The hotel depicts the Old Manila. I will stay again on my next visit Alvin London
