I had a good stay at Citadines Salcedo Makati. The gym is above average, the room is comfortable, and the staff are friendly. The pool is nice, though there’s no real view. Two things kept this from being a 5-star stay. First, the breakfast is very controlled and several items were bland, so the value wasn’t as strong as expected. Second, the hotel’s Wi-Fi uses outdated IT policies that throttle travel routers, even when only one guest is using personal devices. The actual cost of bandwidth to the hotel is extremely small—basically pennies—so the restriction feels unnecessary and affects the overall experience. Updating the Wi-Fi setup would make a big difference. Overall still a good stay, but these issues take off about one star.

The hotel was ideally located for my trip. It was close to my office and only a 10 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants in the Makati area. Great value accommodation with good size and well appointed studio room. The staff are very helpful and the check-in was a breeze. I recommend doing the online pre-check in. I would definitely stay here again.

A Great Stay

The Citadines always provided a comfortable stay. The Salcedo Village is very clean, a variety of entertainment and eateries and a safe place to walk.
