Fine hotel, the only issue I had is that when I checked in I gave them my credit card for incidentals and then a few days later I came home late one night tired and forgot me myself locked out of my room because they made some mistake with my card which took way too long to rectify - just wanted to go to bed not be treated poorly. They could have left a note under my door mentioning that they needed my card again

I was looking forward to staying at the Lexington because I stayed at an Autograph Collection hotel in Chicago and had an amazing experience. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my stay here. The room was very small, it was just two girls and I felt like we were crammed in there. The bathroom was tiny, to the point where the showerhead was spraying onto the sink and the floor. The room felt outdated too and had kind of a musty smell. The shower felt dirty as well. The room was not well lit, it was hard for us two girls to get ready in a small, dim room with a small bathroom. I felt like we paid a lot of money to stay in this hotel so I expected more, especially after having a great experience in Chicago. The location was awesome though - extremely walkable to Times Square and Broadway and there were a lot of really great restaurants and bars within walking distance. I don't think I would stay here again unfortunately, I just paid too much for an underwhelming experience.

Everything went well except for the surprising last minute $35 fee for meal and gym, which was totally unnecessary. To deduct the fee from the bill, we had to go to buffet breakfast, which was not good at all. At the end, we paid $78 for the worst breakfast in New York.
