Park Central is in a great location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are currently upgrading the elevator so there is often a long wait, which I also didn't mind because that is understandable. However, the posting said that the rooms were recently renovated. I saw no evidence of that. Our light switches and commode tops had layers of dirt around them. Maybe the dirt was from a renovation that wasn't noticeable. The first night, our sheets and bedspread had spots of blood on them. We did ask for those to be replaced and the hotel staff did that immediately. Overall, it just didn't feel clean or renovated, but that may have been why the price was so reduced.

We loved the hotel for its proximity to everything we wanted to get to and the staff was very helpful with information or hailing cabs. The elevator situation was a pain unless you knew to use the service elevators and then it was a non-issue.

Rooms really small. Elevators a disaster. Only one elevator working. Have to wait in line every time

The guest services, housekeeping, maintenance all nice and helpful. But our toilet started running and couldn’t flush after awhile but got that fixed. Then our sink and shower drain all backed up, not good drainage. There were only two elevators for a big hotel like that and one was inoperable, waiting for the elevator was frustrating at times because we had to wait for a long time and got filled so fast, many had to wait for it to come back to them. Otherwise a nice hotel.

Room was not available to after 6:00 PM Checked back after 3:00 PM, which is the stated check-in time

I’ve stayed at park central in the past, and the location, building etc are ideal. Regardless of the rennovations to the elevators, they need to invest more in proper cleaning and friendliness of lobby staff. The room simply was not clean and the shower clogged. The lack of those two qualities takes this hotel down to a 3 star only for convenience when I once considered it a 4.2.
