The location is perfect to jump on the subway or walk to many sites. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of food choices at Grand Central or around. We used our $15 credit in the Market every day but beware, the prices in that market are very high. We also found the street noise very audible (sirens, horns ) but luckily we were exhausted from touring all day and the beds were very comfortable, so we slept through it.

1) I have never stayed in a hotel that did not provide a pen and paper in the room. 2) Surprised also there was no coffee/tea maker. 3) Your market is hilarious. $5 for a pack of M & Ms?

Overall a decent value for a location you can’t beat. Easy to access most subway lines and walkable to Times Square, Broadway, Rockafeller Center, etc. elevators were fast and check in was easy. Glad they moved us when the family across the hall were screaming all night. Rooms needed some deep cleaning and the “resort fee/destination fee” is a scam - $40/day for a $15 credit at the overpriced store and access to the gym. No spa as indicated, no paper - total sham.

Even if the hotel is a good option to stay, I think the price is not fare for the quality of the place, with the same price you can find much better hotels to stay.
