Staff informed us that our room was not ready for check-in at 3 pm, the check-in time. We waited until 3:30 and it was still not ready, making us late for our event. I understand that things happen but check-in times really should be abided by considering the lengths people go to in order to plan itineraries in a populated city. If check-in times don't go as planned, there should be compensation.

In a quiet and convenient location. The room was comfortable and clean. The front desk staff could be more cordial. It felt like they were there to just get the job done rather than be helpful to guests.

It was an inexpensive hotel and it was clean and adequate for 2 nights. The gratis breakfast was good. Many Europeans in the hotel and eating. That was okay. My one complaint: the curtains in room 708 closed only partway. That meant NYCity's bright lights were kin the room all night, each night. Get heavy curtains that close!
