The hotel is nice. It is an older out dated property but seems safe. It is in a perfect location to Columbus Circle and Lincoln Center. Great places to eat in the area.

Our room had a broken curtain and a terrible constant noisy coming from the building ventilation.

Air conditioning unit extremely loud. Had to change rooms.

We booked through Expedia & upon booking it informed us that we had a 49$ fee at time of arrival so we accounted for that . When we arrived the hotel said it’ll be 49$ or something like that plus the 150$ they require separately. Mind you, our room was 600 so now it became almost 800$. We brushed it off because it was the first time my husband & I had been on a solo vacation without the kids. However, there were no wash clothes or towels available. They were “out” & we were told to walk to CVS at midnight if we wanted a shower after walking all day. Our air didn’t work. & there was no open pool for us either like in the pictures. 70 degree weather and it’s not “pool season”. The staff didn’t seem to care there were no wash cloths, but they switched our room and we got air and they told us they would credit us 50$. Which they never did. Once we checked out they actually charged us an EXTRA 50$ more ! Expedia claims they couldn’t reach the front desk and it was hard to believe because there is always someone there. When I got home and tried to call about our 50$ extra charge I also couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone. The wall paper is peeling and someone got stuck in the elevator to the bar while we were there. I don’t recommend this hotel. Looks fancy initially but looks are deceiving! They are cheap & rude.

I’ve stayed here two times before but this time it was awful… room was banged up, cabinet door loose, shower handle falling apart, window treatment didn’t work. Smelled like weed outside the room I could barely sleep. And as we were leaving there was a drunk man in the walkway that ran outside and got in our cab and was yelling at our taxi driver!
