Really lovely large room with sensational balcony and view. Lovely, helpful manager. Amazing breakfasts. Not an en suite bathroom but we were only residents. Love to come back. Hreat walks & surrounds.

Lodge was good, the upper unit I think would be better as it has a wonderful balcony

If you have the chance to stay at the Mangawhai Lodge, don't hesitate to book. We enjoyed every aspect of our recent two day stay with Jeannette serving as an excellent host. Our room looked out at the ocean and the beach was a short walk away. Restaurants are also close by with an impressive range of choices for a small village. Our only mistake was not booking at least another night.

We stayed for just the night and it was a wonderful experience. Beautiful and clean accomodation and our host Jeanette completely looked after us - definitely recommend!

Great over night stay ,everything there that is required and great cooked breakfast in the morning with awesome views
