It was a good stay. I arrived late as I had to travel late that day, but a staff was on hand to receive me for which I am very grateful.
Check in was also very seamless.

Limited menu for vegetarians, very carbohydrate based

We try to make our menus as varied as possible for the majority of our guests. We use fresh ingredients and try to adapt dishes for peoples preferences wherever possible. I just counted six of our main courses that are vegetarian as standard, sorry that you don't think that is enough.

The location is good. The rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. However ,we fined in the restaurant on our first night. It was poor, overpriced and not very tasty. The slimmest piece of overcooked salmon on bland rice. My linguine was swimming in oil. Tasteless. I had to ask for some pesto sauce. We had to send the wine back to the bar as it tasted sour .The decor was dark and dreary with no atmosphere. . We fined at the pub next to the hotel for our other 2 nights. Would only stay for B&B in future.

Oh dear, sorry that you didn't find our food to your liking. Our menu is served from fresh ingredients, cooked by our qualified chefs, to order, again we are sorry that you did like it, it's not usuaqlly the case. You are correct the Green King pub next to us serves great pre prepared food.Happy to read your other positive comments, thank you for taking the time to review us.
