An Ibis Budget hotel tends to offer a relatively small & spartan room, and this was no exception. (Things like no tissues; two thin & scratchy towels; some dirt on the floorboards and dust in the corners.) However, I had no real complaints! I especially appreciated their awesome, large buffet breakfast with hot foods & rotating pastry selections, and the counter selling water & sundries at all hours. Staff was quite friendly, and spoke enough English that nothing was a problem with my limited Portuguese!

Generally, Ibis' rooms around the world are not plenty of space, but everything was clean and nice. Help and care of staff, remarkable, very grateful to them. Great breakfast, high Variety of things. Will come back.

My 77-year-old mother had an object missing from her room and the way the management handled the situation was dismissive and inattentive. I changed my mother's hotel because I felt insecure. I don't recommend it and I will take legal action for what happened.
