The cabin we stayed in was really nice, but the light in the bathroom made a weird noise and the refrigerator didn’t really stay cold. Other than that everything was perfect.

Property owner/manager was very kind & accommodating. It was close to the river, which is amazing. It did say river access on the sign but there was no path to get down to the river behind the cabin... a little sad, but it's not a far drive to get to the main area. Dislikes: Poor lighting makes it easy to "hide" dirtiness. Sheets were stained yellow/brown, pillows were yellow, fridge and freezer were dirty. We didn't complain because we didn't need much, thankfully we bought our own sheets and pillows. If I could add pics here I would. :( There's no actual pots or pans or any dish sponge available to do dishes. The place really could use a maid. Oh don't plan on showering your family all in the same night, Hot water tank is not big enough to shower two people comfortably. (We were a family a four & 2 of us took a cold shower) Over nice area, friendly owner but place needs some TLC. Thanks for the stay

Cabin owner from hell

Very bad. Got cused out by the owner on a Sunday morning. Arrived, no office, no answer phone for three hours. Place dirty, toilet outside of next cabin. Got called names until i had to hang up , blocked because he kept calling me. Owner had my phone number. Tried to get me to bypass Hotels.com

Got customer a room even though we were in the middle if two family tragedies...called next day to check on customer...they had canceled their stay with Expedia but stayed at cabin anyway.. ..a typical deadbeat.

They did not have the room I reserved because they were closing and had already packed up all their king sized rooms. They said that I could cancel was the only good thing if that’s true. Needless to say I didn’t stay there

SORRY EXCUSE FOR A MOTEL

The owners have let this place run down to the point that I would rate it as the absolute worst place I have stayed in my 50+ years of travel. Years ago I stayed here a few times but it appears that no upgrades have been done in the past 20+ years, ie., Worn out carpet, uncomfortable beds, bugs/spiders, no anti-slip strips in tub, metal entry keys and no security lock on door, walls/trim needing painting, NO wall electrical outlets in bathroom and only 1 outlet for light, microwave, refrigerator, & coffepot, and unclean.

Air conditioner and mirrors needed better cleaning. Balconys need cleaning from bugs, webs nest etc. Carpet in my room desperately needs replacing. Staff was wonderful, comfortable, ac was cold, tv was directtv. Love the view.
