A good rural pub, rooms are OK, Full English breakfasts where cooked to order and an solid evening menu.

Room was a great size, bed comfortable, very clean. Food and drink excellent Staff very friendly and helpful Fast check-in and check-out Will definitely use this again if I’m in the area

We stayed for 1 night, so can't comment about the area, the pub is lovely, with a comfy area for drinking, bar area for eating & separate restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff & food was delicious. We had a dog & stayed in a separate building but this was fine & only 2mjn walk away. There is a deadend road opposite which is perfect for walking the dog with several poo bins. Would certainly stay again when in the area. It is right next to the A64 but we never heard any traffic in our room.

Great experience all round

What a great place this is. The pub is so lovely and so are the staff, so friendly and obliging. It was like a home from home. The food was 1st class and the huge breakfast set you up for the day. The Ham &Cheese Ploughman’s was epic. Nothing was too much trouble, a real gem.

Great stay, lovely big family room, very clean and comfortable beds. We had a very tasty evening meal when we arrived and super breakfast the next day.

Fantastic stay. Lovely food . The staff were all lovely and friendly. Stayed in one of the Annex buildings. Really nice and comfortable.
