Loved Balinese beds. Pool was a bit cold for May. Housekeeper was excellent. Breakfast was amazing. Had fresh cooked omelette every day. Also had lunch which was really nice.
Lacked some chill out music by the pool which would have enhanced the experience.

Couples getaway
Posted 13 Apr 2023 on HotelsMy wife and I stayed at Marina suites for a little vacation and loved every minute of it. The facilities were immaculately kept. The breakfast every morning was delicious and the rooms were beautiful. Would definitely stay again!

Good and bad and very bad

Let's start with the good... The food is really good and the pool area is very relaxing with views looking out to sea.
Now the rest...
When you arrive, it is not clear you have to go to the main Marins Playa hotel opposite to check in.
We booked a suite but were given a lower class room apparently by accident. When we asked about this, they said they would swap us over to a suite on the first floor where you couldn't see anything from the balcony! Instead they offered us just a 40 EUR discount - didn't even make up the difference in the room cost.
The A/C in the room is very poor and underpowered... The room didn't go below 23 degrees at night, despite this being left on 24/7.
The shower was blocked and flooded the room. We reported this and it took 2 days to resolve (not good in a 4 day stay).
The best were soft but the mattress was quite thin, so if you were average or larger, it was sleeping on a bench.
The customer service was not great - a case of take it or leave it. We gave a card when we booked in, but said we would use a different card to pay. 3 days into the 4 day stay they charged the card we didn't want to use without telling us.
So, nice views and good food but for us, service is important. Would we stay again? No

Great Adult only hotel.

Staff are friendly and very approachable. If you are looking for a hotel away from the English and German themed restaurants and bars, this place is perfect.

Nothing unique or special about this property. Stayed in 5 different hotels in a one week trip in Mallorca, all were great except for this one. The reception is located in a strange location not on the main floor, and the two ladies up front were rude. They can’t be depended on for anything. Other than that, the rooms were okay and what you might expect from a discount hotel (no tissues, no conditioners, no outlet adapters, etc)
