Excellent rooms in quiet street of central Málaga

Pros: Perfect location for exploring historical Málaga. Clean, airy and bright rooms. Good value for the price. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: The only things we missed were a safe and perhaps a little refrigerator for keeping one's beverages cold.
Location: Great location for restaurants, cafés, nightlife, museums, historical architecture and for walks to the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro fortresses.
Great little guesthouse in the historical centre, round the corner from Picasso's house of birth on Málaga's main square, Plaza de la Merced. There are literally hundreds of restaurants and cafés within walking distance (so we we didn't miss not having a breakfast room) and yet this guesthouse is very quiet, tucked away in a little side street. The property seems very recently renovated, is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. We stayed in a "junior suite" with a French balcony onto the street and a window overlooking a little courtyard reserved for La Siesta guests. There are coffee- and tea-making facilities in the lobby. The staff were extremely friendly and eager to help with our needs.
