Our 2nd time staying here. However, the experience this time is kinda disappointing. The room is really hot and stuffy when we enter. The aircon wasn't really working as well, it is not cooling the room at all. The toilet was also very cramp compared to the previous stay. The remote for the TV or the TV was not functioning properly as well. We managed to speak to one of the house keeping crew who was cleaning the other room to get some new batteries for the TV remote. However, it doesn't seem to be the case and he did not tell us anything and when we ask him about the aircon, he again pressed something then left.Maybe it would be nice if he could communicate to us what is happening instead of just walking off. Luckily, the aircon starts to get cool but the TV is still acting weird. There is no Netflix on available as well. If possible please avoid room 404 or probably the rooms of the same stack. Will probably consider staying in another hotel the next time i visit Malacca.

Amazing new fresh hotel . Room was very comfortable , beds nice and bathroom modern and clean . Breakfast was ok , staff friendly . Only let down was the location .

Overall great place to stay. Just a bit of a walk from the river and other landmarks which wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t so hot and humid. Go during their “cooler” season. Spacious rooms and cool decor. Nice staff.

Boutique style hotel with cool atmosphere.

I had the family room, it was as described. We were four adults and two little kids, the room was perfect.

Pretty Boutique Hotel

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff and round the clock security. Decor was strict to the theme and owner is very proud of the Rosa name as many of the items in the room bore it's name. Hot shower was ever ready and perhaps a little too much cos even the tap had hot water! Wasn't walking distance to Jonker and breakfast wasn't fantastic. Grab to most attractions were within RM12. Allocated room was just above the conference room and there was a conference that started at 9am on a Saturday! Sound-proofing should be improved as we were woken up by cheers, clapping and noises from the conference room. Feedback to the staff was well-received as noise level was lower on Sunday but we were still woken up at 9am. There was no initiative to offer a room change despite our feedback. Parking was plentiful but sheltered parking lots were limited.

If you ask me if I would stay here again? Yes I would. 1. Since the lobby is on the 1st floor, the guest receiving area /lounge should have a more proactive or trained staff. A security guard may not cut it. 2. Room service should be made available. At the time I was there, food can be ordered on the phone but guest has to collect the food from cafe. 3. The breakfast buffet should have a better spread for 38.10/pax. 4. Maybe place to hang cloths should be a bit longer. 5. The room I stayed was for 4 person. The number of power outlets were limited for guests use and kinda not very convenient to plug or unplug. These comments are my personal opinion. It is not meant to tarnish the hotel’s reputation. I feel if these small things are looked at, it would be a better place to stay. Otherwise, cleanliness is excellent, very spacious and comfortable room, staff at reception and cafe are always smiling, ample parking, not too far from town centre.
