It’s sold as a hotel room. This is a hostal. One women toilet/shower for everybody. My room door in the middle of the community kitchen. Very strong humidity smell in the room.

Great hostel in Mahahual
Posted 1 Jan 2022 on HotelsThis was my second stay, for 9 nights, and it was great. The manager, Maxi, is awesome, and everyone is very respectful in the dorm of noise and personal space. It's kept clean, which is hard in a beach town, and has a large well-equipped kitchen. I'll be back again soon!

Its not what I reserved, very disappointed, rooms, dirty and smaled bad.
Only the manager. He told me he is new, was a njce person. Very friendly

Posted 17 Mar 2020 on HotelsLovely place right in the middle of the beach strip. Very helpful staff and the place is kept very clean, especially for a beach spot. The dorm is big and spacious, the A/C works well, and the bathrooms were kept very clean.

The room not windows not sower and not restrooms you have to shower wit 30 different person and same time and managers kid 18 years old very bad dress and smell to mariguana very horrible hotel the pictures and Expedia is lie an cheater please don’t make the mistake buy the horrible hotel

In the first hand we would like to extend an apology and explain the situation on our side.
The room in which you stayed is a private with shared bathroom inside the hostel, you are right the room has no windows, but in your reservation the type of room is specified. Sorry for the inconvenience
The facilities are hostel type and the bathrooms are shared, both by the people of the hostel and privates, we have two bathrooms one for men and one for women. With two showers in them.
We do not have a manager of 18 years old in the hotel, in any case we extend an apology if it was confused with any guest of the hostel, and for the smell and the way he was dressed. Welcome many travelers passing through the hostel, we apologize for that situation.
The photos found in expedia are exactly the photos of the rooms we handle, please check the reservation number and the room reserved. Do not confuse the room that is reserved with the room we have for profile picture please, those are our suites with ocean front.
