This is our first time to the Ayata resort and it was a wonderful experience. I booked through Expedia and Expedia offers full board package which you can add to your booking which will save you a lot of money for lunch and dinner because it will be more expensive if you pay there. The food cooked by 5 star chefs tastes super delicious and everyday they have different cuisines and options along with refreshing tropical fruits. The staff is super friendly and is always there to assist you. They also take good care of you for the whole process from airport arrival to departure.

Staying at Ayada was the best experience of life just the air conditioning at the Sunset beach suites needs to be rectified rest everything was at par.

Not a 5 star resort

We found that the resort did not meet our expectations as allegedly one of the best in Maldives (and corresponding price point): service was not good (slow and inattentive) and rooms need better maintenance (malfunctioning items). In addition, the resort is fairly far from Male, needing more than 3 hours to reach (1 hour domestic flight, 1 hour speed boat ride and at more than 1 hour waiting). We would not come back.
