Me pareció muy buena la ubicación, cerca de TODO: el metro, tren, restaurantes, tiendas, de los atractivos turísticos. Había leído comentarios acerca de la entrada pero yo no tuve alguna dificultad, el ascensor algo pequeño pero sí tiene y funcional. Definitivamente regresaría en otra ocasión.

Mixed review. This hostal (not hotel) has 2 extremes. The property is in horrendous condition, elevator is prehistoric shared with 8 other floors with other hostals. However since Woohoo is on the second floor we used the steps. Once you enter thru the Woohoo entrance door it is another world. Appears to have been recently renovated with very modern hallways, quaint rooms, very clean, very modern, great bathroom...if the other tenants could only fix the walls and paint the entrance this would be a completely different review. I congratulate the Woohoo administration for daring to build such a nice hostal in a very rundown building.

I loved my stay at Woohoo Rooms Boutique Gran Vía. It is clean, safe and close to everything. The staff are very nice too.

This is the second time I stay at this property and I never regret it. So clean (Once you get past the spooky staircase) and the staff is always amazing. Keep in mind that this is a small boutique hotel on the 3rd floor of a building, the other floors are occupied by different small boutique hotels. So I guess none of them want to pay for the maintenance of the staircase, but other than that (which to me is not important, because I'm not going to sleep on the staircase) this place is 10 out of 10. Keep in mind that you are in the literal center of Madrid, its amazing and safe.

Looks are deceiving, very hard to locate, no clear signage, when I first realized where the entrance was I was shocked, right between the Nespresso store and a shoe store, when you first walk in, I was like “oh no” the building looked run downed, old, not great lighting, no lobby area, the hotel is on the second floor, also not clear, the building is multi use, elevator is slow, but once I made it into the hotel space, all very updated, clean and sleek! Staff were very friendly! The location was also prefect, close to everything, a few min walk to the Plaza mayor, the San Miguel market, the royal palace, and of course all the shopping on the gran via!

Excelente ubicación, en la misma gran via, donde tienes opciones de todos, las habitaciones son confortables, bonitas y limpias, el staff es excelente.

Positive: Good, clean, Small renovated hotel (only 10 rooms). Comfortable bed, renovated bathroom, safe locker and small fridge in the room, free tea and a coffee machine in the reception (1 euro).
Negative: reservation was for a room with balcony, all rooms only have a Juliet balcony (in other words, you open the door and that’s all). Also, because hotel is in a busy street and in front of a busy square in the second floor, at night there are some noise. Finally, hotel in a shared building with other hotels, and it looks like none of the hotels take care of common areas (stairs and elevator).

The building has a common cleaning team hired by the city council, but sometimes, it is not under anyone's control if others do not make a correct and civilized use of the common areas of the building.About the balcony, we are sorry you could not enjoy it, but on our website or through Expedia.com you can see that we show real pictures of it, so the pictures do not deceive.Gran Via street is probably the busiest street in Madrid, considering that Madrid is indeed a very busy city, the rooms facing this street have balcony, despite the soundproofing, some noise can sneak in due to the constant hustle and bustle in the street, however, we also have interior rooms facing an interior courtyard, if you want to stay with us once again, we suggest you give it a try.We hope to see you soon!Best regards,
