Solid hotel, clean and in a good location.
Staff was less than friendly and seemed bothered to be asked a question.

When I visit Madison I usually stay near the capitol, but that wasn’t available. This location is a bit further but a winner - parking was free and easy, bike share (b-cycle) dock on property, right on bike/foot path to Lake Monona and downtown. Great for morning walks and getting back and forth. Staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Rooms have a strange layout with closet in bathroom- but a minor issue
