The property was very dated and looked untidy. I could hear both my neighbors verly clearly through the wall.

Posted 25 Jan 2024 on HotelsI have stayed at the Shakespeare before and it is very well maintained and clean, nice size room, very comfortable bed! It has everything you need and a good location, a walk to the Caneland Central Mall, also the room is very quiet with no street noise!

I was travelling and Mackay was my half way stop. It is in a quiet area, clean with helpful staff. Could not fault it. Just what I needed. I found a great place for dinner within easy walking distance. 🙌

As always never disappoint and very happy with the place. Been there and stayed there more than 4 times this year alone and everytime visiting Mackay will always be staying there. Price is reasonable and suitable for both families or business.
