Loved the facilities and room :) we had a great 3 day stay. Only thing we didn't like is the TV not registering hdmi so we couldn't watch any movies during our down time after hikes and swimming, and the live TV didn't work often.
Other than that we were mostly outdoors and exploring Peak District but coming back to a clean room and relaxing in the hot tub and pool was great.

We arrived on Friday for my fellas birthday but arrived later as stuck in traffic. We were greeted by a lovely lady in reception (Chelsea I think). She checked us in and we had a room upgrade. We chatted with her and she wrote down a list of local restaurants and a taxi card. This was lovely as she was busy but still took the time out to help us.
We stayed in a superior room which was spacious and modern.
We used the pool, jacuzzi and sauna and really enjoyed the health suite, again, everything was clean and modern.
We took Chelsea’s recommendations of local restaurants and found a beautiful little Italian restaurant, basilico (it cost about £6 in a taxi from the hotel). We then went for cocktails to a nearby bar and got a taxi back to the hotel.
For breakfast we missed the hotel breakfast so had a breakfast roll in the pulse bar, it was lovely and we sat in the conservatory, overlooking the golf course
All in all a very lovely night away and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning.
