We have never been in a hotel where we had to get assistance from hotel engineers to turn on the air conditioner and to check out why there was no hot water. The water heater was not working and we had to go to another room to take showers.
Just a hassle staying at this hotel.
Another quirk about staying at hotels in the PI is an obsession with “checking the room” before you can check out.As the hotel has my credit card information and a deposit they could recoup any charges if we stole something (the implication). The result is that check out takes forever and makes you mad when you are leaving - the result is that we won’t stay here again.

The property is getting old but still okay with exception of the early morning repair. We were asleep and got
Woken up by continued hammering on the adjacent room. I called the front desk thrice before action was taken to stopped the repair. The staff know well in advance a repair is going to be done, they could have room us in another room, Other than the ones where repair was going to be done. And what really was the kicker was I have to call three times before action was taken.
