Positives: Striking architecture inside and out, nice room, pleasant garden, Paperback Tavern w/ nice view of the Charles and good food. Front desk clerk did allow us to store my wife's electric scooter in their luggage room. Negatives: Staff training spotty. Maid left one washcloth for two people; when I asked housekeeping for another was brought 2 hand towels, after that 3 complete sets of linens (?). One time maid came to our door, knocked, and asked if she could clean the room; my wife said yes, and that was the last she heard from said maid - no cleaning. I asked about a business center and was told they have none, but front desk offered to print boarding passes if I emailed them. Three different people on the front gave me 5 different email addresses, none of which worked. The room had a refrigerator but no microwave, which seems strange. The first day water was off for 6 hours; after that the toilet seemed to have trouble completely swallowing everything. Valet service was uneven - some were friendly and helpful, but someone had a habit of turning off the headlights, which caused a problem for me since it was a rental and very unfamiliar. That could be dangerous. Why even do it?
