Truly deserves the 1 star rating. They gaslighted us into thinking hand towels were bath towels. No spoons. No soap in the room.

Terrible experience
Posted 6 Dec 2023 on HotelsStay was terrible. No soap in the bathroom, no extra towels and the bed was uncomfortable. Staff was rude and very uncooperative, the room is very small and it falls way below the standard expectation of even a 1 star hotel.

This is a very budget hotel. No amenities, not even a water glass. That said, it was clean and quiet despite backing up to a major highway. The reception people were very nice.

The hotel is ok for the price paid, and also considering it is not in the center of Lyon.
I report a bad experience with one person at the reception, as this person was stubborn to just speak French. No effort to speak in English. If the issue was that the person doesn't speak English, maybe the reception is not the best place to be working.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Was about a 15-20 walk from the confluence.

Exactly as described! Everything was really clean and the room was comfortable. Showers and washrooms are shared but kept really clean at all times. Transport is limited at nights and it's a bit far from the more toursit areas. Overall definitely worth it and good value.
