Loved our stay here! It was only for one night but we were made to feel very welcome, and the hotel is fabulously quirky, our room was attractive and comfortable.
It’s dog friendly, which helped as we’d left ours behind on this occasion, so plenty of furry friends to make new friends with!

We had a one night stay, staff were all amazing, helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfast.
Would thoroughly recommend The Stag.

The room we were in had a hole in the wall and a very uncomfortable bed. Furniture is extremely dated and has had a bad paint job done on all units. Although a new bathroom, it is very badly designed as who wants to look in the mirror/ use the vanity unit over a toilet?
Also, a patron was allowed to Vape at the bar in full view of staff, and was not challenged about this.
The staff however were very friendly and pleasant throughout our stay and the hotel it is an ideal location to look around Lyndhurst

Check in was easy, staff are all excellent and friendly and couldn’t do enough. The rooms are large, comfortable and well decorated. Breakfast was delicious. Great location, right on the beautiful high street. Would stay here again 🌟

Recently renovated room. Lovely touches. Comfy bed . Spotlessly clean. Great shower . Fab breakfast. Friendly staff
