Easy to access, room was lovely and clean although it was at the front of the hotel and the double glazing didn't seem to work at all as we could hear every car go past.
Breakfast was fresh and hot and the staff were very attentive.

Mattress had to be changed on one bed . Springs sticking through.
Bins not emptied in room on 2nd day.
Room very small
Sausages and bacon at breakfast very over cooked on 1st and 2nd day.
Staff friendly.
Convenient for local amenities

We’ve stayed at The Penny Farthing before. The place is basic, very clean and welcoming. It is ideally situated for walking into Lyndhurst & travelling to other parts of The New Forest. All staff we’ve met during both stays have been welcoming and friendly.

Pet friendly. Our dog even got a treat whilst we were waiting for our breakfast. Breakfast was good. Over all decent stay.
