Posted 24 Mar 2024 on HotelsBooked this hotel by the rating Excellent, please don’t get me wrong it was nice , but it is a guest house not a hotel, tv no signal no Iron , below par hair dryer from 1990 , Bar closes at 10pm also door locked at 10pm A clean and tidy Guest house

Having been before, we were expecting a great visit. However, we had to endure cold showers because the shower had a fault, which, to be honest, they tried to fix but were unsuccessful. The room was cold on the Friday but the heating was turned on more on Saturday. The towel rail wasn’t on when we arrived and staff were unsure on how to turn it on.After a day we figured that we needed to switch it on from outside the bathroom, from a switch on the wall. We heard next door at 6am talking but other than that it was quiet. Staff were friendly and tried to help but sadly were unsuccessful. Bed comfortable and plenty of tea and coffee.

Long weekend break
Posted 6 Mar 2024 on HotelsGreat location, with excellent access to local area. Easy check in. Did not eat at hotel due to dietary needs however local town has excellent eating opportunities.

Our room (delux double) was excellent, plenty of space, clean with an excellent en suite.
Service was friendly, professional and courteous.

Great hotel
Posted 14 Jan 2024 on HotelsWe stayed with our dog for the night and it was wonderful. The room was a very nice size, very clean and the staff were very accommodating. Food in the restaurant was lovely and the hotel is in an ideal location.

Staff were so helpful and room was superb. Telly took some figuring but everything was superb. Will go back again.
