Having the creek next to the cabins is beautiful music. We all were so relaxed and comfortable.

Staff was great- after checking in and getting settled in the room in the main lodge, the manager came up to my room and shared that somehow the Expedia system had allowed a double booking- I didn’t need the two beds so gladly moved to accommodate- I was relocated to a Lame Superior view room which was wonderful to wake up to. The staff was very apologetic for the inconvenience and also received a voucher for breakfast. I would recommend the Lodge!

The hanging basket outside on the porch was nice. The Cascade Restaurant is very good. The lodge itself has staff untrained in guest service. The cabin we stayed in had a horrible matress, the kind with the big soft spot in the middle that you sink into. They tried to cover it with a mattress topper which was of no help. Vacations are to rest and relax - not possible on a bad mattress. The upholstery on the hassocks was stained as well as the bathroom curtain. One of the window blinds was broken.
