During my extensive travels through Sri Lanka and India, which included stays in over 12 hotels boasting 4 and 5-star facilities, my experience at Hotel Hyatt Regency Ludhiana, Punjab, was unfortunately far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was greeted by well-spoken and friendly front desk staff Komal. However, the promise of a luxurious experience quickly faded when I entered my allotted room, which was subpar even by basic standards. The room appeared neglected and poorly maintained, akin to accommodations found in a railway station rather than a reputable hotel chain like Hyatt. After raising my concerns with the manager Rishi on duty and being promised a "better room," the subsequent room provided was marginally improved but still lacked cleanliness and attention to detail. The presence of moisture in the bedding led to discomfort for my wife, who experienced allergies necessitating medication. Despite assurances from the manager regarding rectifying the cleanliness and drainage issues, the follow-up was lacking, with the room not being properly attended to until late afternoon. Furthermore, attempts to extend my stay were met with uncompetitive rates compared to online platforms, and the promised assistance from Mr. Ram via phone was unfulfilled. Additionally, the property showed signs of neglect and insufficient maintenance, with visible damages throughout various areas. In summary, my stay my stay at Hotel Hyatt Regency Ludhiana fell short of expectations.

I booked the executive suite for my brother. Him and his wife got married earlier that day. My cousin and I went to the counter 4 hours earlier to request the room be decorated with flowers, some chocolates, and champagne. The person at the counter made a phone call and then said okay it will be done. When we came to the hotel with my brother and and his wife, we got them checked in and headed to the room. They literally had put 9-10 fake leafs and 2 towels together. That is it. They didn’t put any chocolates and champagne. Extremely disappointed. The manager was ZERO help. He instead called the EMPLOYEE during her non-working hours around 1 o clock in the morning instead of taking responsibility as a manager to help resolve the issue. Terrible manager.

Ac was not working properly, it was very hot. There was no contacts for room service available to call anyone in room.

Loved our stay, however, there was a fight in the lobby with one of the guests and staff, where police had to be called, other than that would definitely stay there again

This place has serious moisture issues. Walls have lot of moisture making tiles in the bathroom de-coloration. The room was very humid we could smell mold.

The property is not cleaned properly, they will try to assign you super unclean room with stained carpet and unclean tables, so I immediately asked that the room be changed and they did so to the one with hardwood floors, Alas! The floor was not cleaned but still better. On the next day the key card was not working so had to go and get it activated. The shocking fact is that they will try to assign you the dirty rooms as default, so that they can assign the clean ones to people who complain about it, not what I expect from a 4.5 stars restaurant.
