The room smelled really bad like smoke! It was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Asked for another room and it also smelled like smoke. The blankets and sheets had burnt cigarette holes. The lady at the front desk was very rude!

The original towels we had in our room were OK, but I asked for others from an attendant, and they had such a moldy smell that I couldn't use them. There was a sticky substance on the floor by one of the beds when we arrived. Bed sheets were not as clean as I would have liked. Price was extremely inflated for Derby. Cannot recommend.

The property in general has a tired worn ambiance. The bathroom floor tile grout is dark with age, the caulk hardened & discolored. One of the decorative bed spreads had a cigarette burn hole in it though the room was none smoking. The advertised breakfast consisted of cereal, oatmeal, two different kinds of pastries, coffee. Luckily there was a nearby Golden Corral within walking distance. Though the staff was polite it was not enough to overcome the deficiencies for a better grade.

I travel for work a lot & often stay here when I'm in this region. Nice comfortable economy hotel.

Posted 17 Mar 2024 on Hotelshad to get key redone every night, bathroom not clean , floor was sticky , beds are old amd springy. water in shower barely had enough preassure to shower.
