The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. They were helpful with questions about what to do around Louisville. We needed more pillows and a blanket and the front desk provided them on the spot. Breakfast each morning was outstanding with a variety of choices.

Staff was great, breakfast was ok. Only complaint was our room. We were put in a handicapped room and it was quite awful! Curtains were dangling from rod, cleaning was about 50 percent. Workmanship on room looked like it was done by a two year old. New toilet had been installed. Old ring, molding and mess from first toilet was left there. Missing bathroom tile. No bathroom counter at all - just a sink with all plumbing exposed. Bed was uncomfortable and I don’t remember ever complaining about a bed in a hotel before. The worst part was the noise from the freeway. You literally are right on the road and the noise is nonstop 24 hours a day. Nothing keeps me awake but this traffic sure did. $200 a night for this hotel is not a good deal. Go somewhere else. We are frequent travelers and I would not stay at this hotel again if it were free. Sure hope the other rooms were nicer.

Dear William,We certainly are sorry to hear that you infact did not enjoy your stay with us here at Clarion Pointe. In seems like a lot of the issue may have been the location of the room. We are next to the highway so I could certainly understand why you would have issues with noise from the expressway. As far as the set up of the room, we do apologize but unfortunately we do have to adhere to the ADA law. We can not have anything under the sink and the sink and the toilet have to be a certain height in order to be wheel chair accessible. We understand this may not be the most appealing rooms and try this is why we discount these rooms. In the future I would invite you to maybe try our king suites. They have whirl pool tubs and sliding glass shower doors. As well as large sinks with a lighted mirror and even a lounge area. They are away from the expressway so there is not as much noise. These are more expensive than the handicap rooms and are not discounted but seems to be more your speed. If interested in the future I would be more than happy to personally give you a tour. The staff seemed a little sketchy and I was definitely lied to about the gym being operational before arriving at the property. It’s in a hotel park in a relatively industrial area, so we never felt unsafe as the only people in the area were there to stay at hotels as well. The toilet in our room wouldn’t flush so we had to use the restroom in the lobby for the duration of our stay, we were never offered another room, just multiple failed attempts at maintenance fixing said toilet. Was not my worst hotel experience but it was definitely weird!

Loved that our room had an outside door. Made it easy for my Mom (who has knee issues) to walk to our vehicle. Our room was very clean as well as the rest of the hotel. Fergy checked us in and was there most of the 3 days we stayed. He was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious too. Overall great stay.

It was a nice facility for the price point. The staff were quite kind and gracious during check in / check out. The rooms were spacious and mostly clean. The lobby doubles as the breakfast room, which makes for tough logistics and a bit of chaos during the morning, but it was manageable.

The staff was super friendly, we had to wait in the lobby for a few hours while we waited on a ride and they did not mind at all
