Highly recommend this place! Concierge was extremely friendly and accommodating. It’s very conveniently located in the Sunset Strip, but much more reasonably priced compared to other hotels there.

Very cool atmosphere. A bit noisy so don’t stay here if quiet is what you’re looking for. I will definitely be back.

There are quite a few issues that I came across during my stay. First, upon check in it was told to me that the room that was reserved for me was only a single murphy bed. I would never have booked a room with only a single murphy bed knowing that I was not traveling alone. When I inquired about other options - I was told that the hotel was at capacity and there's nothing that could be done. I then asked to potentially be put on a list for standby to see if there was a room that opened up if we could transfer to a new room. I offered to even pay for any difference in cost. I was told "well there's already a waiting list, sorry". Essentially told I just had to "make it work" with this insufficiently sized room. Unacceptable. Secondly, I requested towels via this text service last night at 7 pm. The towels were never delivered and I had to physically walk down the hallway until I found a towel cart. Later that night, upon returning to our room the towels were STLL not there and I had to walk back down to ask the front desk for this. Unacceptable. Lastly, upon checking out this morning I was told that my final total charged to my card would be $650!?!? For a single night stay in a murphy bed where we had a guest sleeping on the hardwood floor? I am completely at a loss for words. I have had zero resolution. It’s a shame.

It looks like you booked your reservation on April 4th, 2024 for Room Type: Room(The Green Room) on the description for the room type it states: 1 Twin Murphy Bed. The hotel was sold out for your 1-night stay therefore we did not have other options available since it is our responsibility to provide the room type to our guest based off the room type they have booked which in this case. You did receive the room type you booked. Please note, you reserved via OAKY an early check in between 10:30am-11:30am at 204.50, plus tax which we were able to complete your request. We sincerely apologize for the delay of your towels and will touch base with our teams to ensure that does not happen in the future. We hope this information was helpful and hope you had a wonderful time in West Hollywood!

Hotel Ziggy is essentially elevated camping. You must request to have your room made up—a basic expectation in a hotel. This requirement isn't disclosed; the only way to discover it is by returning to an unmade room. You can then request housekeeping for the following day, which seems like a tactic to avoid cleaning rooms and cut costs. Additionally, the valet charges $65 a day, yet there is only one attendant, resulting in an average wait of 15 to 20 minutes to retrieve your car. Moreover, you cannot call reception to have your car brought around; you must be physically present to request it. Also, considering Los Angeles' water quality, the provision of only two small bottles of water in the room is less than acceptable. While the reception staff are pleasant, there is an underlying vibe of disinterest, making guests feel like an inconvenience. Given what the hotel charges, one would expect a lot more.

To ensure we protect our staff we must follow the West Hollywood Ordinance on Hotel Worker Protection by enforcing the guidelines provided to us by law. Our housekeeping team is happy to provide cleaning everyday at no additional cost. At check in, you were provided 'Hotel Sheet Information' on that sheet it has a section designated for Housekeeping Service options. Secondly, with us being a boutique hotel our property is much smaller than most so having one valet is standard in our size. Due to the high volume of activity on Sunset Blvd. for the safety of you, other guest, and our team members we must have our guest present and ready for their vehicle as our entrance is one way in and one way out.
