It was super close to the homeless center and there were homeless people sleeping in front of the door etc.

The employees at this property and neighboring property’s are currently on strike (Local 11) and they have 35 people with an orchestra outside the hotels starting at 6 a.m. sharp. The staff working is not the most pleasant and it’s unfortunate because the hotel itself is very nice.

My room wasn't ready. Noisy protestors right outside the door. I ask twice for an email receipt, still have not gotten. Breakfast was served an hour later than it was supposed to.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. The mattresses are cheap spring mattresses amd the bed sheets amd blankets are thin and rough. The hotel is near the Santa Monica pier but the neighborhood is really bad. Lots of homeless people and we didnt feel safe to walk to the pier. And then the hotel workers were on strike in the morning banging on drums and blowong horns right in front of the hotel at 7am!!!

It definitely wasn't worth the money. We found a small cockroach in the room , we informed the staff and honestly they acted quickly on it and offered to change the room and sent pest control. The complimentary breakfast was below average I would say. There was no parking , even though they do have a garage inside and they only had valet for 50 dollars a night which is absurd !

If not for the amazing staff, I would of found my stay disappointing. The staff really made the difference given the limited nature of aspects of this hotel.
