Staff are easy to work with, bar and restaurant is hip. Rooftop bar is excellent.

I enjoyed my stay at the Freehand and will definitely choose them again for my next LA trip. There were some smudges of someone's makeup on the wall near the mirror and the desk table had some damage on it but otherwise the room was clean. The room I chose faced a street with a bar and there was some noise from people standing out front late at night but otherwise it was a peaceful stay. The rooftop bar is wonderful and open til midnight which made it a great option for a night cap without having to leave the hotel and the lobby lounge was a great option for getting work done during the day. A little busy but I found a spot and the cafe integral staff was very kind and accommodating.

Showed up and was greeted and received service right away. Check in was smooth and the hotel is amazing so far!

Really nice staff, very accommodating. The rooftop was also a very welcoming environment. Although the surrounding area isn't the best, the hotel and the bar at the top was very friendly and welcoming.
The valet service is a bit on the expensive side, but definitely well worth it considering the area.

Far from ordinary with killer vibes, this hotel did not disappoint. The Supra Lowery Brothers jazz band was the highlight of my stay. Check them out every Wednesday night!
