For the price of the room it was not that nice.

The staff were all lovely but the property really needs some desperate TLC. The bathrooms are not very nice, the pillows feel about 15 years old and literally filled with the most uncomfortable effectively balls of foam. The bonus of this hotel is definitely its location if you want to Visit Universal as this is literally a few minutes walk as is the Metro into central LA. If the rooms are refurbed this would be a little treasure

Kind of mid tier for the price we paid. Room size was nice, but the lighting and corresponding switches were very, weird. Bathroom light wouldn’t stop flickering. Shower was very nice and the water pressure and temperature were incredible! It’s a reasonable walking distance from universal, which was also appreciated, and Uber rides were reasonably cheap to both universal/city walk & downtown LA/Hollywood. We received an email saying they started renovating months ago, and it seems like an obvious slow progress thing.

Car parking 🅿️ s bad, car was blocked we could not mov it, another vehicle parked in front, ownwr was not there and not known, a c was very noisy, bathroom shower curtain was short, water was coming out of shower, limited towels

Lights didn’t work, shower was inconvenient on how to turn on, hotel smelled and was humid.

Is close to universal. I no like the problem with the shower.and no have drinking water.

We came to LA for my son’s birthday and to go to Universal Studios. The photos online are deceiving. The pool was broken, the plumbing is wrong. The faucet temperature gets way too hot and is not up to code. There needs to be a thermostatic mixing valve that limits how hot the vanity faucets can get. The shower controls are all messed up too. The one control should be to control the water coming out of the rain fall shower head, the other valve is a diverter valve that SHOULD change it from the waterfall shower to the handheld. It did neither and the two just dribbled out. The only thing this place has going for it is the relative closeness to Universal, which is a sketchy ass walk anyways. Do yourself a favor spend a little more and stay somewhere else. I know I wish that I had, birthday trips blunder.

Great location but bring ear plugs. My husband and I’s room had an old door that connects it to the room next to us and, unfortunately, this door was paper thin. We could hear our neighbors loud and clear, they woke us up in the middle of the night or early morning every night we were there. Even if our neighbors were more considerate you can still hear everything. It’s a great location and nice hotel but you won’t sleep well if you end up in a room like we did. Don’t be foolish and hope it will not be as bad the next night as we did, ask for a new room right away.
