This is a nice place,the area was pretty and the cabin was nicely furnished but be aware that no soap, shampoo or dish soap is provided, the toilet room is also very small( like airplane or smaller) Also there is a $95 fee for bed linens as well as a cleaning fee and a deposit on top of what you already paid.

Reception were helpful and check in/ check out was easy. The underfloor heating didn’t work which meant the lounge area felt a little cold but reception gave us a portable heater which did work well. We were comfortable and I can imagine it would be stunning in good weather (we were unlucky with all the rain). There’s a tumble dryer and fresh linen etc. WiFi was excellent as was the tv choice for wet days. Deposit was returned quickly. There are extra fees (cleaning and bed linen) but the bed linen and cleaning were worth the money.

Disappointing
Posted 29 Aug 2019 on Hotels1. Many hidden fees, i.e. not included in payment at booking (e.g. cleaning, dog)
2. Sink in bathroom is too small - barely big enough to wash hands!!!
3. Furniture worn
4. Not nicely decorated as on photos

It was NOt mentioned anything during booking processs. No note whatsoever beside/under the final price.
And we found out in hotel it was written down so amall in term of condition.
This is thief !!! We wont booked in this hotel if we have to pay so much and wont do under hotel.com which way more exepensive the others.
We claimed for dumerage !!
Please arrange asap.
Thank god luckily we have the money that day otherwis ehow we cover it ?we were in 21 days road trip so we count every single expenses. Not a stupidity like this. Waiting your action asap

Thank you for your stay. We read your review, we read you were happy with the accommodation, as we read no comment at all about it. You are clearly unhappy with the booking website of Hotels.com You did not see on that website the note about the service fee (towels, bed linen, made-up beds, final cleaning), and about the tourist taxes. Unfortunately we have no influence at all on this website! it is Hotel.com who chooses to mention these costs separately. Please contact them also in name of other travelers to change their website. Thank you for your stay, we hope to meet again some time in the near future.

Lake bungalow was great!
Posted 19 Jun 2017 on HotelsCaroline was a great hostess, helping us with bike rentals and local navigation, and other entertainment ideas. We missed the early checkout time (10a.m.) but fortunately it was not a problem. We loved the bungalow and the lake and the local area, very easy trip into Amsterdam or Utrecht, and one of the very best sunsets we've ever seen in Europe!

Worst hotel experience EVER Never Again!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted 6 Jun 2015 on HotelsWe booked this hotel while vacationing in France. We decided at the last minute to drive up and stay a couple of days. It listed the place as a hotel but it was far from that. You were supplied towels and dishes. But no soap or tissue. Now from my experiences staying at a hotel they at least supplied the basics in small quantities though. Now for the cost I don't want to forget the hidden fees that we didn't know until we arrived at the quote on quote hotel. I cant even remember the total but for the price it wasn't worth it. Its to far from everything and it wasn't even clean. Not to mention the bugs (spiders) crawling around.Also and don't let me forget the hot water tank (Big Issue) it only allowed 2 people to take a shower comfortably. When we complained front desk clerk said that the tank takes several hours to heat up. So that messed our day up with 4 adults trying to bathe that morning. I think if the room or cabin sleeps 4 people then 4 people should be able to shower. Never again and I warn any others to stay away and find a decent real HOTEL.

Posted 16 Feb 2018 on HomeAwayEs war eine schöne Umgebung, ein schön eingerichtetes Haus und nette Leute. Das einzige was nicht gut war, war das dreckige Geschirr, Töpfe und Besteck. Das hat leider alles geklebt.
Ansonsten top!
