Nice place to stay
Posted 29 Dec 2023 on HotelsForty Four North is a clean, tidy, comfortable, and art-filled accommodation. I would recommend staying here, especially if you are a big fan of Derry Girls. However, I experienced some issues during my stay in Room 3. The heater in that room didn't work well, making it colder than the living room or bathroom. Additionally, the water pressure from the shower head was not strong enough. I hope these issues can be addressed and resolved soon.

Mean Property Manger
Posted 9 Dec 2023 on HotelsFacility was excellent, owner (John) and property manager McCoy/McLean are super friendly and understanding.
The other manager is not. It had been raining since morning and we had checked out of the room at 11am thus were waiting in the lounge as our flight was scheduled for19:00 hrs. He literally asked us to move out of the property because people were coming in, and we had to walk Tru the rain to the aircoach bus station which was 30 mins away.
That's not good. Not considerate and unkind.

Perfect, vibrant hidden gem
Posted 2 May 2023 on HotelsHad such a fabulous stay at 44 North. What a wonderful, vibrant hidden gem. Incredible decor, like seriously stunning artwork in the whole building! Very clean room, excellent kitchen/diner facilities, lovely shared bathroom. Only a 15min walk to the centre of town. Perfect for my needs. Highly recommended 👌🌟
Some Derry recommendations: definitely walk the wall, the Bogside Murals, Derry Playhouse & be sure to visit the incredible Giants Causeway (train to Coleraine & then grab a local bus).
