The property is right next to the Victoria station which is super convenient to get on the underground or the train back to Gatwick airport. The room is clean but its small. Love the amenities theyve provided i.e. espresso machine. However, if you need moisturizer you would have to bring your own.
One little critique would be that there was a false fire alarm on night but their staff didnt effectively inform us and no one picked up the phone at the reception area.

Mny of the staff need basic customer service training - how to talk to customers, how to interact with customers. Not difficult, but would make a huge difference.

Nice location. However, the building is old and key services like hot water sometimes stop functioning. We also experienced a false fire alarm in the middle of the night and the staff were not prepared and only created further confusion. The AC/Heating system does not function properly as well.

Stayed for a week for the London Marathon. The location is perfect to access everything in the area as well as day tours out of the city. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Slept soundly each night and did not hear a thing from any neighbors. My only complaint is that given the price point and 4 star rating, a few additional toiletries should have been included (e.g., lotion, make up remover, q-tips, etc).

It was a small place but the location was great I know the land is costly.

First of all, the hotel had the most beautiful lobby ever! The rooms were nice, with great bathtubs and good beds, but were on the small side (which is often the case in Europe). The location was excellent and so convenient, although it was quite congested. The associated restaurant, The Soak, was very good, too, especially waiters Joban and Alfred.
