the bed the mattress was terribly soft, the wires too much noise, and my back murdered me the next day, I don't know why expedia works with rooms Like this

Isnt an hotel, terrible staff and organisation. I womt never come back. Lucky for the "hotel" that is near a train station.

The Stratford Hotel
Posted 12 Oct 2019 on HotelsVery friendly and helpful staff. The room was very small but very clean. The bathroom tap was extremely lose and the bed mattress was smaller than the bed base. Ideal for 1 person but for 2 people sharing it wasn't that comfortable, but we still slept ok. Overall for the price we paid we will definitely use them again for a 1 night stay.

The location is pretty good and the staff were helpful and welcoming. I would have had a good stay had it not been for the incredibly noisy fellow residents. The walls are very thin and I got no sleep before an important exam because people were running up and down the stairs and shouting through the night. The very thin walls meant I could hear the bed springs from a neighbouring room and a couple clearly going at it, also lots of door slamming.
