Excellent food and lodging. Convenient to transportation. Surrounding area seems a little economically depressed but we were there to visit family only and The RedLion was perfect for our needs.

Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Enjoyed the history of the building and the area around the hotel/pub. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice clean well appointed room. Chocolates and decent coffee.
But room was gloomy and cold on entry. Took a while to warm up. If you have bedside lights they need to be bright enough to read by.

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel, not a style of hotel we usually go for, but certainly will do again. Felt cosy and was well equipped with iron etc. Lovely tea tray with fresh milk in the fridge. The welcome drink was also a lovely gesture and breakfast was superb both in terms of choice and taste. The whole experience surpass the price paid and we would use this hotel again and try others by Fullers.

Lovely clean hotel with very friendly staff. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Carpark a bit tight but there was the pub carpark which was fine.
