Wonderful place and friendly staff! Good breakfast.
Internally, although it was nice and comfortable, I was expecting some “old”, castle-like decoration and furniture. But just the location and surroundings is worth the stay. And it was good to know it is a charity organisation.

Quiet and everything we wanted. Confusing route barrée and deviation about 15 minutes away but that will be a temporary problem.

Nice little gem out of the beaten path. Host was amazing and bear fast was delicious. No air conditioning was the only down side of the stay… it was a bit hot. Other then that it was very good.

Posted 28 Aug 2019 on HotelsA very imposing French Chateaux with sweeping entrance and ample parking.
Reception staff were efficient and friendly, showed us to our room and explained about wifi etc.
The room was spacious and clean with good sized comfortable beds and well appointed en suite bathroom. It included a small balcony overlooking the courtyard garden and the wifi worked well and continuously when required.
The overall impression of the room and the hotel was of a quiet well maintained elegance.
Breakfast was French cold buffet with a good but not extensive choice.
Location is very quiet and rural but not far from Angers which is a spectacular smallish city with impressive Castle and Cathedral. We were sorry to only have a one night stay. If you like peace and tranquillity this is a great place to stay. We can recommend it with our whole hearts.
