Perfect for me and the puppy as I was able to park car/kennel right outside in the quiet car park. Secluded spot just away from the main high street.
Lovely friendly pub, great food, no fuss! Accommodation basic (perfect for me and dog) but clean, all facilities worked well. The only thing I missed was a comfy chair to sit and read... but the bed sufficed (very comfy btw). Would definitely go back.

Warm welcome, bed comfortable and within reason, room spacious. food, as ordered but one problem, car parking., a little difficult on-site.

The accommodation is fairly basic, but it met my needs fully. The room was warm and bed comfortable, the shower was lovely and warm too. Everything was very clean.
The accommodation is based at the Mount Inn, breakfast was included and the Inn offered a good choice of evening meals. I was spoilt for choice, and eventually chose the mint & pea fritters as a starter and the broccoli & Caulifower bake for main meal. Both were delightful.
I found the staff very polite, friendly, and accommodating.
Due to problems with my car I had to extend my stay, and was welcomed to stay longer.
I cannot fault anything about my stay at the Mount Inn, and would highly recommend it. I look forward to staying there again in future when visiting the area.
The surrounding countryside and river Severn is lovely for walking.
