Excellent breakfast service

Noisy - Could hear people in adjoining room talking at normal conversation level
Noisy - downstairs door banging shut

Fantastic stay
Posted 11 Feb 2024 on HotelsFantastic stay here with my boyfriend last night. We arrived by bike and called beforehand to let them know and they kindly allowed us to keep our bikes safe in a ground floor room just off the courtyard.
Reception lady was so lovely and check in was a breeze, the room was gorgeous and spotless, the bed was comfy. Massage shower was a bonus!
Breakfast that was included was outstanding - full Welsh breakfast was great for two hungry cyclists!
We also ate in the restaurant and staff and food were both fabulous. Will definitely be back.

A lovely quirky hotel with an amazing evening meal

A lovely quirky hotel, however, not disable friendly, but I guess that’s to do with being a listed building.
The food was amazing with lovely fresh ingredients. The mussels were probably the best I’d had and the trio of pork was delightful. Only negative being, the bar closed early,
The breakfast was ok. Fresh fruit salad would have been nice as I am lactose intolerant and cereals aren’t something I go for. Also baked beans with the breakfast would also have been something we all would have liked to have seen on offer.
We were a party of 6 celebrating a 60th birthday and all 6 stayed the night.
Will definitely be returning.
