This property is dated. It was clean but old, weathered and really in need of an update. Bed was uncomfortable, tiles chipped and towels dry.
Central and easy walking to town but this really isn’t necessary as town is small and not much to offer.

Fabulous stay at the Fairmount!
Posted 26 Oct 2023 on HotelsThe trip was incredible and our 2 nights in the Fairmount led us to reserve an additional night on the return from Botswana. Our room was fabulous and I can honestly say that I’ve never been treated so kindly by staff in all of my hotel stays in the past 58 years I’ve stayed in hotels.
We had a wonderful time.

This hotel was everything we could have hoped for and more. Great location, had the family suit for 4 people and it was a great price, staff were very helpful and responsive, and great amenities on site we enjoyed such as the pool right out front of our room and the night club. Beautiful property. Would recommend for anyone!

The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is a bit dated but seems to be well cared for. I didn't realize that the hotel seems to be catering to Indian guests, based upon the menu served in the restaurant and the Hindu meditation playing over the loudspeakers at 530 AM.
