Great location for base to visit Liverpool, both for walking and transport links. Pretty basic room great hot water and water pressure. Noisy at times on the weekend but to be expected given location. Only had maid service ONCE in a 7 night stay! Wouls at least have appreciated someone taking out the garbage!

This property is unsafe. The rooms at the back of the hotel are difficult to access, you have to wind yourself around multiple stairways and elevators to get there and if there's ever a fire. I am not confident you could find your way out.The mattresses had spring coils that dug into your back and the hallways ad elevators were filthy.

Adequate for my purposes as a solo traveller just looking for somewhere to sleep and shower. The bed is pushed against the wall so not ideal for 2 people, the windows let through all sound (and drafts) fortunately I was in a room at the back.

This is a budget hotel in a listed building Great location, staff were super helpful and couldn’t do enough for us Liked - v clean, fresh fluffy towels, quality toilet paper newly refurbished bathroom very basic but only stayed 1 night Disliked - The bed was very uncomfortable I felt I was sleeping on the floor it was that hard. i returned at 11.30pm The walls were very thin I could hear clearly what guests were saying in the corridor on our floor when they returned during the night and I was disturbed several times. Notices should be placed in prominent areas reminding guests to be quiet and the night staff should also remind guests when they return late. The room was freezing when I checked in I set air conditioning on high and was seated in room for 2 hours relaxing it never warmed up, an additional heating or better air conditioning is required.

Dirty walls around the bed ,Tv didn’t work ,mattress poor felt springs, poor quality pillows , staff were nice
